Identity Level of Assurance (LOA) 

The Level Of Assurance (LOA) measures the confidence in the claimed identity resulting from the verification process that has been performed on all pieces of evidence provided by the user. To reach a certain LOA, users may follow different paths depending on what evidence they actually have in their possession. To accommodate this, the ID&V service supports multiple combinations of verified pieces, evidence, and scores. These different combinations are called profiles.

When a profile requires more than one evidence, the secondary evidence has to support the same identity as the primary one to contribute to the LOA. Below are the different LOA profiles and their evidence scoring criteria:
